Following a single pilot flying a floatplane from Oz to the UK?

He was/is following the track of the old QANTAS flying boats but I have lost the bookmark of his ongoing account of this remarkable flight. He was somewhere over India/Pakistan but now I cannot find him. Google is not helping. Help please!

Maybe he's mentioned in a back issue of On The Step, the Seaplane Pilots Association of Australia newsletter.
