References from a part time job I started a month ago?

Applying for another part time job to supplement my current one. I've only been at the current one for a month. I'm not comfortable using them as references because they're too new. Will it be obvious from the commencement date on the resume, or should I spell it out anyway? Thanks!

Current references are good, especially if they're okay with recommending you while you're still working for them.

YMMV, but if I was asked to contact a reference who had known the candidate for one month on a part-time basis, I would be very skeptical of the usefulness of that feedback, but much more damningly, also skeptical of the person's judgment or number of options in presenting that reference. So I think your instinct is good, and you shouldn't have to spell your reasoning out either.
