Sitcom where a woman dumps a guy for talking to her in the bathroom?

I saw an episode of a tv show once where a woman is weirded out because she thinks her new boyfriend is talking to her on the phone from the toilet. She tests it out by asking to use his phone and going to the bathroom. The punchline is something to the effect of "Oh, I only have one phone, but the cord is so long I can use it anywhere." What sitcom am I thinking of?

i was thinking Friends or Will and Grace, but I can't google well enough to confirm. This was an American sitcom in the 90s or early 2000s.

Well, Friends had Joey get a TV deal and get rich and move into a ridiculously over-luxe apartment, and when they all visit him he shows off the phone in his bathroom, to which Monica declares, "NEVER call me from there!"

Response by poster: Watching that episode is actually what brought up the memory, dhartung. Similar concept, but different show. The long phone cord was definitely involved.

Sounds too like Seinfeld to be anything else!

In Seinfeld? I'm not sure of you all thinking of this situation?

It definitely sounds like something from Seinfeld, but I don't think it is. I've seen each episode multiple times and it just doesn't ring a bell. I could be wrong though.

I did try searching some Seinfeld scripts with some keywords, and the best I could find was The Phone Message, though it has a completely different plot line. Here are some snippets in case you're misremembering some details.
--
Jerry: I'm supposed to see her again on Thursday, but can I go out with someone who actually likes this commercial?
Elaine: I once broke up with a guy because he didn't keep his bathroom clean enough.
--
Jerry: You know, I really need to use the bathroom.
Carol: Oh well there's a bathroom in the coffee shop just next door.
George: Yes, yes, but er, I have to make a call, so...
Carol: Well they have a phone.

I love my phone machine. I wish I was a phone machine. I wish if I saw
somebody on the street I didn't want to talk to I could go "Excuse me, I'm not
in right now. If you could just leave a message, I could walk away." I also
have a cordless phone, but I don't like that as much, because you can't slam
down a cordless phone. You get mad at somebody on a real phone - "You can't
talk to me like that!" Bang! You know. You get mad at somebody on a cordless
phone - "You can't talk to me like that!"

Ok, maybe it is from Seinfeld after all. I found someone else referencing this exact same scene in a messageboard.
