Looking for a cooling replacement for Urban Decay's Lube lipgloss

The best lip product I've ever had was Urban Decay's Lube in a Tube. It was a tinted lipgloss that was extremely cooling (minty? mentholated?) and had a bit of exfoliating grit in it. Putting it on chapped lips was like sweet relief. But, now that I'm finally using up my last tube, I'm discovering that this product was discontinued years ago.

I purchased a 'similar' product recommended by Sephora, Korres Greek Yoghurt Lip Cooler, but I'm not happy with it. It's not cooling enough, and I don't like the texture.

So, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a product that is both cooling and tingly but also has a bit of a slightly gritty texture to it. I don't care if it's tinted or not. And I don't care what type of product it is as long as I can put it on my lips.

Burts Bee's Soothing lip balm has that kind of effect. No color, but the tingly cooly seems to come from menthol and eucalyptus. It also has the slight grittiness.

The Buxom range of lip polishes have a lovely minty cooling effect, I am addicted to their color Dolly. Note their lip glosses don't have the effect, but their "polishes" do and act like lip gloss to my mind. They don't have the exfoliating grit though.

I used to have some Lube in a Tube, and to be honest I was not in love with it. The closest thing I've tried that's currently in production is C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine. It's not gritty, but the minty aspect is there, and more pleasant smelling/tasting than the Urban Decay stuff.

Shimmery lip glosses often have that slightly gritty texture, so if you're okay with sparkle look for those.

Also came here to mention Buxom. It's not gritty, but it sure is cooling. They have nice colors as well.

Urban Decay's Lip Junkie isn't gritty, but has an amazing cooling vanilla-minty flavor.

I love the Lush Mint Julips lip scrub, and the Sara Happ lip scrub as well. Not a gloss product, and I don't use the mint flavors (prefer fruity), but these products are lovely and definitely work!

You could also make your own.

Response by poster: Thank you for all the suggestions! I'm going to start with the Burt's Bees (cheap and easy to find), and work my way through ALL of these products until I find one that I like! So, I don't know who's answer is the best yet, but I do appreciate all of them.. and I'm going to look into all of them!

I actually have looked at eBay in the past, but didn't have any luck. But there are listings now. I guess that's a search to subscribe to!

Oh there was something else.. Oh yes, the Urban Decay did have a shimmer, so that's probably what the grit was rather than something added to make it an exfoliant.

If you're specifically looking for an exfoliant, The Body Shop's Lip Scuff is good.
