did you look on flickr.com? How about not searching for clip art per se?

Royalty-free images and art, for a couple of bucks a dog.

Have you tried OCAL? I did some work technical work for them over the summer, and ended up seeing their hotdog image about 1000 times, since I always tested by searching for "dog".

Response by poster: Thanks for the ideas, I think I will take some photos of dogs or paint a logo and photograph it.

You could use a free program link inkscape to make some vector art of a hotdog.

It would be pretty easy since hotdogs are pretty simple shapes.

Microsoft has a few free hotdog clipart images.

As for photos, you could try a searching for hot dog and hotdog at Stock Xchng.

There's a good selection at i-stock, most costing 1 credit (you can buy 10 credits for $10).

Are Flickr images really free for the taking? I wouldn't have thought so.

Oh and you could always run a contest at the SitePoint forums.

I've been having more luck with morguefile.com than sxc.hu, and there are (almost) no usage restrictions. Some sxc.hu photos have restrictions. And no, Flickr images are not free for the taking. They are free only when specified.
