How to get a palm pilot to talk to a wifi router?

I have a netgear wgr614v2, and the options for Secure Encryption strength are 64bit and 128bit. I also have a PalmOne Lifedrive with WiFi capabilities, however the Encryption capabilities are only 40 and 104 bit. How can I get these to talk to each other? Sorry if my techie lingo is off

In short, "64-bit" is really "40-bit" and 128 is 104, in this case. So pick 128 on your router and 104 on your palm.

As you will see here 64-bit encryption uses a 40-bit key and 128-bit encryption uses a 104-bit key. The names are confusing, but interchangeable.
