In search of the perfect wall calendar......

I need an awesome wall calendar for my apartment! I’m looking for something graphic and beautiful, preferably in black and white, although muted colors like blue and grey and silver would be cool too. It needs to be the kind of calendar that has a page per month, NOT the kind with all 12 months on one page. And I’d like to not pay more than $25 bucks for it unless it’s REALLY amazing.

We’re already a week into January and I’m in desperate need of a calendar for my apartment. I’m looking for something to match the colors of my bedroom – blue, silver, white and black. This calendar is absolutely perfect..... except that I tried to order it twice and the company kept messing up and finally I gave up. So I need something just like this in every way… but not this actual one. Sigh. I’d love to get it from Etsy or some similar small company. Most important is that it has one month per page.

The Stendig Calendar is a classic.

I have been getting the Ansel Adams calendar for over 10 years, there is another on its way. The print quality is good enough for framing should you wish to.

I've always loved Nikki McClure's papercut calendars. Here's her version for 2015.

Yes, Nikki McClure's calendars are beautiful. The single color each month is sometimes bright, but the images are almost always predominantly black and white.

I came here to recommend Nikki McClure as well.

I'm with epo on the Ansel Adams calendar, and I've actually framed a few of the prints from it. Very nice.

The wall by my desk is currently rocking the MAKE Collab Vertical. They also make a smaller one in the same design.

For things with images, absolutely nthing the Ansel Adams.

Seconding the Stendig, but be warned that it's really, really, really big. Unless you're dealing with a very large room, be prepared for people to invariably say something like "wow, that's a really big calendar" when they first step in the room.

I also came here to recommend Nikki McClure. The 2015 calendar is lovely.

The Lotta Jansdotter calendar might be more color than you were thinking, but I do recommend it. I think it fits your other wants quite well. The colors are muted, but there are definitely colors.

Response by poster: Ha, I think the Stendig one is bigger than my apartment! Maybe someday when I move out of Brooklyn :)

Some good candidates here.... I think I'm leaning towards the Aubrey Beardsley, but please keep the recommendations coming!

We're using the Edward Gorey calendar this year. There's also a Gorey Creatures calendar.

I don't know if this is what you mean, but the Pusheen wall calendar has cheered me up many times when I've had a bad day.
