Organic and Unflavored Lip Balm

I'm looking for organic and unflavored lip balms that are available for purchase in Canada. The organic part is very important and by unflavored I mean no fruity flavors (mint flavor is fine, but nothing is preferred). I've checked other posts on lip balms, but a lot of the suggestions do not seem to be organic or the products do not ship to Canada. So far my list consists of Burt's Bees and Dr. Bronner.

Best answer: Badger Balm. They're also a B corporation and treat their people really, really well.

Best answer: I don't have specific Canadian recommendations, but this is the sort of thing that's easy to find on Etsy. Set the regionalization to Canada and there's over 100 items in 'organic lip balm.' You can contact sellers for unflavored/scented if they aren't listed and I'm sure you'll get a response.

Seconding Etsy. I bought three lip balms from Etsy that were flavoured/coloured with vegetable juice and all sorts of organic stuff because my daughter likes to eat my lipbalm, and the seller was happy to answer questions about the ingredients and ship to Singapore. Etsy is totally your friend here.

Not positive if the emphasis is on Canada vs. available for purchase, but: Any chance you'd want to make your own? Here's a Burt's Bees knock-off, from which you could leave out the scented oil. You can refill your existing tubes/tubs (though empties, while a specialty item, are cheap), and store the rest in an airtight container. When you're ready for a refill, melt and pour. These things get cheapest if you have a friendly neighborhood soap-making supply store, or similar source of small volumes of slightly exotic oils-- ordering all this online could drive up the cost.

Even if the answer is no, you don't want to make it, this should give you an idea of why Etsy is a good way to go-- the process is not complex or high-tech, and thus well within the scope of a hobbyist crafter up to a professional artisan, as it were.

I have this lip balm from Saltspring Soapworks (British Columbia) and it is my favourite. It's 100% organic and (unless they've changed the formula recently) only mildly scented/flavoured. No fruitiness at all.

You might like this Weleda natural Lip balm
I am not sure it is 100% organic but Weleda at least markets itself as such. It is really nice and soft and lasts a long time!

Olive oil. Seriously, best lip balm ever.

Seconding the Weleda lip balm absences linked. I picked it up randomly and it has become my favorite by far.

I really like the lippies from SilkNaturals. Here's their plain and organic lip balm. The Black Label Pure is also nice, though it has a light vanilla scent. (Some of their flavors are not natural, and some of them are, so be sure to check ingredients if you think some of the flavors sound intriguing.) I know they ship to Canada if you use Paypal, but I have no idea if the shipping costs are prohibitive, though I vouch for their makeup and skin care products as well, if you need to fatten up your order. :)

Oops, reread and saw "available for purchase in Canada". Sorry if shipping to Canada does not work for you. :-/

By organic do you mean all natural? If so then I can back up the Burt's Bees lip balm, it's excellent and tastes like mint. I also like Lush Ultrabalm, basically it's a natural replacement for Vaseline, completely unscented.
