Online Invoicing and Payments (but not accounting)

Looking for an online invoicing system that will allow me to bill clients and then allow the clients to pay online via credit or debit card. This needs to not be tied to an accounting system, and it needs to bill in Euros.
As it happens, my accountant bills me and takes payment through invoices sent with Xero, so I checked that out first. Unfortunately Xero is backended by a full accounting system and I very much don't want that.
Any other suggestions?

Paypal?
I send paypal invoices to clients and they pay me by credit card even if they don't have a paypal account. Sure, there is the paypal commission but it is cheaper than a merchant account. Paypal-Here also lets you collect credit card payments in person on your mobile phone ... If you have good coverage grumble grumble. Their invoicing templates are reasonably customisable.

Response by poster: We ended up going with Wave. Wave has free invoicing, which integrates with the ability to pay the bill online. Invoicing is free. Payments are a flat 24 cents + 2.4%.
