South African Vocal-Styled Cover of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer?

Yes, it exists, and apparently I even included it on a tape of novelty Christmas music I made years ago for a friend, who wants to know who it was and where I found it. If only I could remember! It sounded a great deal like Ladysmith Black Mambazo, although I am reasonably certain it was NOT them. It was done in a somewhat to-these-untutored ears isicathamiya styling. Can anyone provide a clue?

If you happen to remember...
Was it in English, Afrikaans, or yet another language?

Response by poster: Sorry, should have said - it was in English!

This might not be it, since it's not exactly isicathamiya, but it's worth a try.

Can't say I've ever heard a track like this. Are you sure it was South African in origin?

Response by poster: PenDevil, honestly, at this point I'm not sure of much where MY memory is concerned. ;) I am not sure it was done by authentic South African singers, but I remember, whether or not the memory is real (!) that it sounded reasonably true to form.
