spanish cat song....?

This has been bugging me for the past month!
Sometime in the late 90s/early 2000 I had a CD of Spanish language kids' music. One of the songs had a random bridge, where they started singing "We Are Siamese" from Lady and the Tramp in English in eerie voices. Then they started playing the tres (like a Spanish guitar, but Cuban), and went back to singing some song about backwards land where cats are kings (this I'm less sure of; my Spanish is not very good).
Does this sound familiar to anyone? What song is this and what is the CD called?

My first thought on kid's song, Spanish, and cat made me think of Don Gato, but the lyrics you remember don't really fit.
Google led me to this page, which gives I guess the Spanish version with a literal English translation. If you search thatsite for "gato", you will find many hits for kids songs that have "gato" in them (some are Portuguese).
I know less Spanish than you, so I can't be much more help.

There are no cat-related lyrics in El reino del revés, but the same songwriter (María Elena Walsh) also has another children's song that is all about a bunch of cats who mistake a "gato contest" (the folkloric dance) for a cat contest, and are disappointed. A long shot, perhaps, but maybe the medley included both of these and you're conflating them?

El Reino del Reves does include a cat lyric at the very start (that cats don't say "meow" and instead say yes as they all speak English).

cobain_angel's right. The first lyric page I looked up omitted the first verse.

fwiw, I remember singing Don Gato with the Siamese lyrics in grade school circa 1976.
