Anyone ever use QuicKeys for OS9? I am trying to figure out if there is a good way to fake it into using variables, possibly via AppleScript.

I am using QuicKeys to do some really repetitive text stuff in a program lacking very good text tools. It would be really handy to be able to use pretty standard loops where the counter was available. I also want to be able to highlight text - I think I might be able to do this in AppleScript, but I am not sure.
