Help me discover Brazilian or French station online

My kid has discovered she likes to do homework while listening to Brazilian music on Pandora but she is getting sick of the endless versions of The Girl from Ipanema. Where else can she listen to Brazilian music online?

She's been listening to the Brazilian station on Pandora and it's been great relaxing music to do homework to--people like Joao Gilberto, Astrud Gilberto, Jobim, Marisa Monte. Occasionally they'll play classic french songs too--La Vie En Rose, etc. Mainly what she likes is the jazzy, calming vibe. What other stations might she enjoy? Or where else online can she listen to a radio station like this with more variety?

Accuradio has Some French stations and a station called Preciso Brazilian. For the most part, Accuradio stations have a good variety and seem to be programmed by humans. They're free (although with minimal commercials).

Best answer: Look for station names starting with "Bossa Nova" - that may be the groove she's seeking. I have three different bossa nova stations saved in iTunes (although my bossa nova-loving phase seems to have burned brightly and died quickly).

Best answer: Check out some of the playlists on Songza: http://songza.com/discover/genres/brazilian/
They're curated by humans so there should be fewer girl from ipanema repeats.

Another one is a Sāo Paulo station called Eldorado, a rádio dos melhores ouvintes. Not all music is in Portuguese, but the majority is.

Best answer: I discovered this Brazilian music podcast not too long ago. I'm pretty excited to have a reason to share it:

Try Nova Brasil FM and the great podcast Caipirinha Appreciation Society.

The soundtrack from Next Stop Wonderland is a great pre-curated sampler of this music.
