High Quality Image/Photo of Carson McCullers

I want a high quality picture of Carson McCullers looking sassy with a ciggy.

The use case: I've been laser-printing black and white things to pin up at work to make me look cool in front of my co-workers. I don't really care if the image is public domain or not, unless MetaFilter does in which case I am apalled that you would condone such theft. The Carson procural plan could then include purchasing something nice like a print or something.

Looks like you can get it here from CORBIS Images.

I know you said the ciggie one but this has been one of my favorites. I'm not sure how high quality you want - would something like this suffice?

This might be what you're after. (from here)

Response by poster: Yorrick, can I download the CORBIS high-rez image for free, and if so, how?

I am not sure about the highest res image they show. There is a preview image you can download after registering that is slightly higher resolution but seems much clearer than the one you linked. You should be able to bump up the resolution a bit to look OK printed on paper.
There are also several postcard and photo versions of this image on ebay that are just a few dollars each.

Biggest I could find is 768x799

There are a couple of bigger different smoking Carsons here. (Click for bigger.) I really like the one with sneakers.

Best answer: Found a version at 736 x 821.

It's a bit grainy with some faint diagonal striations (improper downscaling of a halftone source, perhaps?), but it's still much clearer than many of the other versions floating around, which all seem to have originated from one source.

Response by poster: Thanks for all the Carsons everyone! I ended up printing out clorox's, and it looks great! My interpretation of the face she's making serves as an indicator of my mood, which is very useful in the working world.
