Little Bit of This, Little Bit of That (Google Maps Edition)

Can I search for two separate stores (or whatever) on (New) Google Maps to find not only which location of each is closest to me, but also where the two stores are closest to each other?

In Classic Google Maps, if I search for Store A, it shows me all the pins, and if I search for Store B, I can select the option to show pins for both Store A and Store B from the "Layers" dropdown on the top right of the screen. Example. (Yes, Binny's and Sur La Table are pretty typical "best ways to spend Saturday night" for me...)

Is there a way to do this in the new Google Maps, or will I just have to switch to Classic for this kind of thing?

I was never able to find that feature on the new Google Maps. This is why I set my Safari browser to Classic, and Chrome to the new version.
