Where can I find an up-to-date comparison of XboxOne and PS4?

With the latest major patches for the XboxOne and PS4 recently released, where can I find an up-to-date side-by-side comparison of the 2 consoles?

I am a current PS3 and Wii owner, and was originally going to skip the new generation of consoles altogether.
But my PS3 (an original "60gb fat" model with an upgraded hard drive) is getting old and the fan is loud, and I've been intrigued by the Xbox One's media center capabilities with all of its apps and the HDMI-cable-box feature. This apparently only got better with the latest patch, which adds more options for local playback etc.
I'm not 100% sure of what the PS4 is currently capable of in that regard, but I've heard that it's a generally more-powerful system and video playback might be of higher quality.

I'm not looking for alternative suggestions of media center capability. There is definitely something to be said for running all your entertainment through a single box (audio, video and games) with a single interface, especially for the less-technical members of the household.
I'm also not-so-much concerned specifically with the difference in game libraries. Whichever console I end up with, I will find games to play and enjoy on it and I'm not too concerned about things like 1080p vs 900p or frame rates yada yada.

Where can I find a comparison of the 2 main-player new-generation consoles that keeps itself up to date with features from major patches?

I don't think you'll find that update yet - if only because there's a PS4 update that's Coming Soon but isn't actually out yet.

That said, the xbox is a much strong er media center device right now. It has (or is getting soon) Plex support, plus it has the HDMI pass-through, while the PS4 can't even do DLNA video (yet; one assumes this will happen eventually but it's clearly not a big priority for them.)

Right now, and for the foreseeable future, if you really truly do want a single box for media & gaming, you definitely want an Xbox One. I'm a very happy PS4 owner, but I also have a Roku that I love to death for media streaming, and I find the PS4 to be basically a brick for anything more than basic Netflix purposes.

I'll leave it to others to talk about whether the Xbox One interface is actually any good for non-technical folks; I've actually found in the past that when non-media devices try to double as entertainment systems, they just confuse the heck out of non-techies, while simple set-top boxes like AppleTV and Roku work much better because they don't try to do as much, and tend to have much less complicated UIs.

This chart on IGN seems to be kept up to date; last update was about three days ago, at least. Presumably we'll find out if it's kept up to date when that PS4 update drops.

For what it's worth, if you're into online multiplayer anything, XBox Live is way, way better than PSN.

Response by poster: Naw, I'm not an online gamer. My reflexes are too slow and my free time is too low :)

I'll take a look at that chart but I wish I could see the edit history to see exactly what they changed 3 days ago. It's also missing any reference to DLNA or audio/video codecs, which is one of the things I'm interested in that are changing with these patches.

The details for the upcoming PS4 System Software 2.0 were just released yesterday, but do NOT include DLNA support. However, in the comments the Sony employee who posted the update says "I will say that DLNA will be great when it arrives" so presumably it's coming at some point in the future.

The PS4 isn't great for media right now. It won't do what you want the way you want right now.

The people I know with an Xbox One have all stopped using the HDMI pass through, as it just didn't accomplish much and added an interface layer.

The PS3 is better than both at media right now, honestly.
