Auto Generate Word Doc Title from Text Fields?

Hello, I'd like to auto generate word 2010 document titles in a frequently used template. Can I get word to combine two text fields in order to generate the document's name automatically upon saving? For example: {Field 1: name}, {Field 2: number}, upon saving automatically names document name_number.doc. Is this doable? Thanks guys.

AFAIK, this isn't possible without a VBA macro. You could, for example, create a DocumentBeforeSave event handler that generates the desired filename and prepopulates the Save dialog. Don't know if you want to get macros involved, though.
