Blog network for posting reviews of startups

I'm considering posting starting a blog where I post reviews of Startups. I would like to try to get at least a few people reading my blog, so perhaps I should join a blog network. A few options of heard of are Tumblr, Wordpress.com and Medium. Does anyone have any recommendations on which site it'd be easiest to build an audience? I'd be willing to try other sites too. I'm not trying to make this commercial or anything - it'd just be nice to get some feedback.

There is nothing magic about any of the networks that will build traffic. If you plan on doing this for a while you should buy a domain name and either self-host the blog, or do it through Tumblr or Wordpress.com, as both have custom domain options. From a branding standpoint it's going to be hard to stand out and be memorable on Medium. They are more like a magazine, where 'Medium" is the brand, not the writers.

Medium is great for this. People can recommend each other's writing and there are lots of professionals from the Startup industry on there.
