Appropriate party music for a rally!

I'm organizing a rally for our state equality group to celebrate same-sex marriage becoming legal in our state today and our ban being lifted. I need some tunes that I can download from iTunes for the pre-rally mix to blast over the loudspeakers. I have no idea where to start. Aloe Blacc's "Love is the Answer"?

IDK! Help me! Must be kid appropriate and upbeat and just fun!!! 80's is fine, 2000s is fine, whatever. Give me some song titles and I will download them and add them to the playlist. PS: We're in Utah! Yay!

Kool & The Gang, "Celebration".

Pharell Williams, "Happy".

Neither of my 2 suggestions are specifically about "yay marriage equality", but they're definitely all about "yay I'm happy", which I'm assuming would still fit.

Response by poster: Yes- I'm just looking for "yay happy music!". The marriage equality bit was just an aside because there are fireworks going off in my brain.

Marry Me, by Krista Siegfrids. It's a great, poppy song to listen to, very relevant, and watch the video to get a big happy. Check out the dancer's costume changes and the big kiss at the end.

If you're going with gay disco classics, you can't go wrong with Larry Levan's playlist:

I'm in Love by Alex Gaudino? We Found Love by Calvin Harris and Rihanna.

I feel like this calls for something by Pink (Raise Your Glass?), Lady Gaga (Born This Way?) and Katie Perry (Firework is a decent choice, Roar is another idea) but I can't say what. Maybe X You by Avicii? I like Beautiful People by Chris Brown but I don't like Chris Brown. You could maybe do When Love Takes Over by David Guetta.

Call on Me by Eric Prydz is a great dance song and even if you don't like dance music, it has that Phil Collins sample. Beautiful Day by U2 would be fitting. Maybe Express Yourself by Madonna?

Hmph! Phil Collins is no Steve Winwood.
