Old US Coin ID question

Hi, not sure where to go to ask for an id on an old coin I found, thanks to anyone that might know what Im looking at here. link 1 and link 2

Looks like a Morgan dollar.

The Morgan identification is correct, beyond this I'd say (and mind I'm no expert but I don't think this requires particular expertise) that its condition is so poor that it probably lacks any numismatic collectible value. It's not clear from the pictures that you can even make out the date and mint mark with much confidence.. In better condition most common dates run from mid $20s to mid $40s with a handful of rarer dates worth hundreds and a choice few worth thousands, I'd guess this is worth its melt value only I.e. the value of silver in it - around $13 at the moment.
