Is it too late to claim PPI?

I had a few credit cards and three loans about 4 years ago, all with PPI . But I no longer use any ot these credit cards and do not remember details of account numbers etc. Is it still possible to reclaim PPI? Someone referred me to Claims UK (London). Has anyone had any experience with this company?

I wouldn't bother with a claims company - moneysavingexpert.com has a guide to reclaiming PPI which has an entire section on 'I can't remember [x]' and template letters.

It's not too late (I just claimed back PPI on a loan from 8 years ago) BUT don't bother with a claims company.

It was very very straightforward to do it myself. I had some account information but not all, and I filled in 1 form and sent back 1 letter. Easy Easy.

The banks have a fairly strict legal requirement to not make things difficult for you. This is partly because whenever they have tried to weasel out in the past (complicated processes or paying less than they legally should and hoping you wouldn't notice) someone noticed and they got dragged back to court. So it is worth a try, but you don't need a claims company.
