Looking for a veterinarian in downtown Portland, Or.

Reccomendations for a veterinarian in the Pearl/Old Town/China Town area?

I recently moved from North Portland to Downtown and need to transfer my dog’s vet care closer to home. The new digs are between NW Glisan and W. Burnside, near the Park Blocks or where the Pearl starts to bleed into Old Town/China Town. I do not have a car and need a vet within walking distance of my neighborhood. Public transit is not an option as she is too big for a carrier and riding a bus or the Max might be way to exciting for her to reasonably pass as a service animal.

We don't need a specialist, just a solid generalist with reasonable rates. I'd prefer first hand recommendations, but anything to help winnow my options would be much appreciated.

Thank You!

How far do you consider walking distance? Is 21st too far?

My cats are registered at Pearl Animal Hospital which is on 10th just north of Marshall (next to Tanner Springs park, if you know where that is), so probably less than half a mile from you. I haven't actually had to take them in yet, but the staff was super-nice when I registered and made it easy to transfer my records. If nothing else, they're probably good to have in your back pocket in case you ever need an emergency vet, since they do that as well.

I'm hoping to find someone within a 20 min walk or half a mile, give or take. We can be pretty fast walkers. NW 21-23ish isn't too far, probably wouldn't want to push it out much more than that.
