What are some examples of non-Reggae songs with Reggae breaks/solos?
I hate this is the first thing that popped into my head but Rush - Spirit Of The Radio

Bad Brains influenced a crop of post-hardcore (aka harDCore) bands in the early 90s to throw reggae breakdowns into their songs. The most famous examples are probably Fugazi and Trenchmouth Unfortunately that directly lead to Sublime and now we can't have nice things.
On a different track, the great indie band Floating Action often incorporates late Ska bass riffs into their tunes to delightful effect.
