Booty Call Song
August 22, 2014 2:31 PM   Subscribe

Name a song that unambiguously and sexily says "let's get it on." (omit the obvious answer, please). Is there a song that, if sent to you, would immediately raise your pulse and get you looking forward to delights to come?

In the past, Nina Simone's I Want a Little Sugar in my Bowl and Rhianna's Rude Boy have worked tremendously well for this purpose.

This particular recipient is a jazz and motown fan, but any genre could work. The only exception is, as mentioned, Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On.

Almost anything on R. Kelly's 12 Play.

Also, I was once virtually seduced by Meeting in my Bedroom, by Silk.

Wait, clarification - does it need the exact phrase "let's get it on?" Or can it just be a song about wanting to do someone? If it's the latter, a lot of 90s R&B songs come to mind:

Red Light Special by TLC
Body Bumpin' by Public Announcement
Nobody by Keith Sweat
Half On A Baby by R. Kelly
Customer by Raheem DeVaughn
Anywhere by 112
You Remind Me Of Something by R. Kelly
Pony by Ginuwine

Not 90s, but came to mind:
Birthday Suit by The Weeknd

(Please don't judge me for my musical preferences.) For what OP is asking about a very clear message, I think the TLC one is pretty blatant. Hah. Depends if OP is male or female, I suppose.
