UK Childrens' songfilter

Hullo, I am trying to identify the names of these songs I learned to play years ago. According to my music book they are childrens' songs from the UK. Google (and Baidu, since these are from a Chinese music book) are not helping. Names and song lyrics are awesome. Here are links posted on Flickr (since YT doesn't wanna work with me): 1. The 2nd one I'm less sure about but it sounds a bit like the alphabet song I grew up with - I think this is fairly well known though, so sorry if you've already dismissed this - Alphabet song

#2 sounds like a hymn we used to sing in church, but I can't think what it is. It's driving my crazy.

Best answer: Based on searching Musipedia, I think #2 is called In a Cottage Near a Wood.
