How can I find a good watch face for my watch?

My parents bought me a beautiful garnet-studded Navajo-made watch for my college graduation. The band is gorgeous, but the actual watch part is crap. I've replaced it a couple of times with the kind of thing you can buy at the jewelry stores, but they always die within a few months. Where can I find a reliable watch face?

Are you replacing the whole part that attaches to the band or just the part inside the case? IOW are you replacing this whole part or just this?
