book - monster doesn't like smelly socks

Help me find a children's book about a monster under the bed who doesn't like smelly socks.

I'm looking for a childrens book, but don't remember the title or the author. There was a monster under the bed and it got scared away by the child's sweaty socks. It may have had a black cover, maybe 30 pages, color illustrations, used slang with rhymes. Any ideas?

hmmmm ..... do either of those specifically mention how the monster is scared of the smelly sock? Maybe not scared but grossed out. I think there was a rhyming line where he refers to the reader as "Jake"

Psssst! It's Me...The Bogeyman

From the review: "The Bogey's only mistake is admitting his allergy to smelly socks, and the boy's alarmed expression turns to a sly smirk as he realizes how to banish his nemesis."
