How to store 30 micro-scooters at a school?

Has anyone seen a neat way to store micro-scooters? My childrens' school has about 30 children arriving at school on micro-scooters. They are piled outside near the main door. Has anybody seen a good storage soloution?

They fold up, right? So I'm not sure what's tricky about storing them on, say, shelves. The sort of open-backed wooden shelving you get for basements and garages, with twice as many shelves, would hold lots of scooters.

Shelving is good - if they have to be inside, look and see if you can't put them on a rolling shelf inside of a phone access closet or some other space.

You can pack all of the scooters on the shelf out in a main thoroughfare when they arrive, then roll it and store it in the closet until the kids leave.

Cubby holes? Each cubby could have a short loop of aircraft cable and an eye bolt. The kids could lock down their scooters with a lock that they supply if they'd like.
