How do you like art when celebrities are so terrible?

This is embarrassing, because I feel like most people have this worked out by the 8th grade, but I want to know how other people deal with it. A lot of people won't watch someone's movies or listen to their music if they're a bad person. A bigot, an abuser, etc. But I...can't give it up easily.

And I know that I'm not alone and that that doesn't *necessarily* make me completely heartless; there are other people who listen to The Beatles and watch X-Men movies. I feel like if I were a good person, I would be so disgusted that I couldn't, say, listen to the Mamas and the Papas. Young people today don't seem as willing to brush stuff aside just to be entertained. But here's the thing: I don't think these are isolated incidents.
