		<title>Question: Info on Ramouz? Ramuz?</title>
		<link>http://ask.metafilter.com/26407/Info-on-Ramouz-Ramuz</link>
<description>Anyone have info on Ramouz? Ramuz?
W. G. Sebald writes of someone studying &quot;Ramuz&quot; in Rings of Saturn. I&apos;ve found books by every other writer mentioned in R.O.S. but this one.
Then today, I&apos;m reading Raymond Carver, and he has a poem about a Hamid Ramouz, &quot;soldier, scholar, desert explorer&quot;. . .
I&apos;m wondering if this is the same guy, and does anyone have info on him, as i can find none in my initial research.

TIA,
