DC temp work recommendations

Finding myself in financial straits in Washington D.C. Looking for current recommendations for administrative temp work in the D.C. area.

I am able to drive and have excellent organizational, editing/proofreading, phone and MS Office skills. I have seen this 2006 question and appreciate this advice on best approaches. Many thanks in advance.

Best answer: I don't see the BOSS Group mentioned in the previous threads you linked.

Best answer: I just recently got off of temping in DC (my current position started out as temping, actually). CityStaff did right by me - they were great about listening to what I wanted to accomplish, and were great about getting me in the door for interviews and gigs. They were also very responsive about any questions I had, or feedback from interviews. I would highly recommend them.

Best answer: Have you Registered on Task Rabbit, Uber and Care.com?

I'd do all of those if I needed fast cash and had a car.

Best answer: Ruthi Postow is the only agency that ever actually placed me. Seven years later, I still work for a company I started because of them.

I also spent some time on CityStaff gigs after grad school; I honestly can't remember what they paid, but it was also 2006 so it doubtless would have changed by now.
