Should I wait for Love or should I settle?

Has anyone else ever thought about this?

Ive been in love twice. Once with the first girl I ever liked in junior high and second a few years ago (Im 29 now). What do I mean by that? Its not the sort of unconditional love but rather that girl that gets you a bit nervous and has you willing to do anything.

It's almost an infatuation that I believe could carry a relationship all the way through. Ive seen this with older couples.

What im saying could be garbage as well, but honestly I have only felt this feeling twice and I feel as though thats what I need in a committed relationship in order for it to last and to be happy. Am I wrong? What if I never find that feeling again? Do I grow old and alone or should I settle for someone that will be good to me?

Im not talking about a girl that only gives you butterfly's at the beginning but rather all the time when you meet and hang out. I get worried that my chances are low of it happening again.

Sorry if this sounds sappy but I have no other way of explaining it and maybe my words are falling shot. Does anyone get where im going with this? Thoughts?
