Can you help me identify this French movie?

I don't remember much about the movie except:

-A very beautiful girl is on the cover
-It was made in the 80s or 90s
-It is about a very beautiful young girl who lives on some island or somewhere near water
-She is about 14 years old
-American (?) soldiers are present and she tries to seduce them for fun with her friend

That's it.

I was thinking Pauline at the Beach but I don't remember soldiers. Movie poster.

It's not Swimming Pool. I recently rewatched the start of this on one of the streaming services but can't easily search on my phone; if it's the same movie, the beginning is at night at the beach side bar and she is flirting with an English speaking soldier, later we see her sneaking into the dormitory and talking to her friend. If no one else knows the answer I can search through my viewed films tonight.

Is it definitely French? Could it be the Italian movie Mediterraneo?

Best answer: Marie from the Bay of Angels?

Frustratingly, I can't find it in the viewed lists. That probably means it was on Hulu+, since that list only goes back a few weeks, but who knows -- things drop off, don't get listed, etc. And what makes it so hard to search is that the "young girl on the beach coming of age" is a huge genre in French movies (e.g. Fat Girl, Wild Camp, all those Romer films...).
