How good does Google App Engine support PHP?

"App Engine is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) service. It provides an SDK and a set of tools for developing applications in Java and Python"

I must be reading some outdated Google cloud documents, it says App Engine support Java and Python with no mention of PHP.

I believe it support PHP now but to what extent?

Best answer: "The PHP runtime is available as an experimental Preview feature. Please be aware that the APIs and service may change before the service becomes Generally Available." (Link)
