Easiest way to record webcam / application combination video?

What's the easiest way to record a video on a Mac that can easily allow switching -- or even a split screen -- between a webcam and an application (say, Word)? The idea is to be able to record video of the speaker, type or draw notes that can be on the video, and be able to switch focus from the face to the notes or have both on screen at once, like a teacher with a software whiteboard. Most screencasting software only seems to focus on the screen and doesn't allow easy switching back and forth from the webcam.
Take a look at Adobe Presenter. I think it does exactly what you want.

Camtasia will record the screen and webcam at the same time, then allow you to select which is showing after the fact in a built-in-editor. I use it on the Mac regularly and it is a good piece if software. It may allow to split screen, but I have never used it that way.

Bill's link is for Adobe Presenter Video Express, which is not actually the same as Adobe Presenter. That said, it will do exactly what you want with a minimum of work. It records the screen and webcam simultaneously, and you can switch the layout from all webcam, webcam and screen, and all screen at any point in your presentation after recording. It also lets you do some professional-looking flourishes, like add a banner for a few seconds at the beginning. I've used the Windows version of this quite a bit, and am fairly happy with it.
