ChicagoFilter: Chicagoans, do you have any recommendations for local carpet cleaning services? We live in a one bedroom apartment where the living room and bedroom have wall-to-wall carpeting and it could use a bit of refreshing. Thanks!

I've used these guys a couple of times. They're in the city, they're good. Found em on Angieslist.com. They have a 10% off coupon for angiestlist members. (No I'm not a shill for angieslist) You could probably just tell them you're a member and get the discount without joining. They're in the city.

I left Chicago in 1977, but your question INSTANTLY brings to mind, "HUDSON THREE TWO SEVEN HUNDRED".

A radio/TV ad from the sixties has burned that phone number into my braiin FOREVER.

For the life of me I can't rememember if they Clean carpets or just sell the suckers. Who was it, Magikist?

Anyway, thanx for the memories :-)

Brouwer Brothers does carpet cleaning. I had a good experience with them, although it was for air duct cleaning.
