Trippy music video featuring a train with special effects?

I'm trying to find a trippy music video featuring a train. The whole video follows the train for the most part. As the music gets more elaborate, the train gets a bunch of effects including changing its color and brightness. Another music video by the same band involved a fake PSA or television broadcast that devolves into a song. Does any of this ring a bell? I think the band was electronic, but don't quote me on that.

It's not the train changing but the passing scenery; otherwise Star Guitar by the Chemical Brothers meets your specs.

Response by poster: Alas, I don't think it's Star Guitar. Good guess...! I forgot about that video. It's very similar in style, but more obvious effects.

You could see the train itself (i.e. the camera was not inside the train). It had smoke blowing out. It had super-saturated color effects like this.

When I hear electronic music and trains, I think of Underworld's Dark & Long which seems to have a train/tunnel motif going on. There are a million music videos for it unfortunately and I'm not finding one that matches exactly.

EDIT: I just saw you mentioned colors/trippiness - maybe this video?

Best answer: Probably not a whole lot of use, but it might provide a lead - was the fake PSA track EBN - Psychoactive Drugs?

I immediately thought of Bloc Party's I Still Remember.

Okay so I'm willing to admit this has been bugging the hell out of me all evening. Not EBN but definitely the same era - are you thinking of Kadoc - The Nighttrain?

It looks like you found what you were looking for, but your description immediately made me think of the video for Here Comes the Fear by Doves. I must confess, I don't like the song enough to watch it with the sound up, but the video is extraordinary and made out of bits of public information films as well as other things. And there is a train.

Response by poster: The EBN track is correct. Those aren't the train track, but I'll post if I figure it out. Those are all great guesses. Thank you!
