What kind of hat is Pharrell wearing at 14s in the Happy video?

It's a Vivienne Westwood hat designed in the 1980s, usually called a Buffalo Girls hat since it was in that video.

It's a Vivienne Westwood hat introduced in 1982.

Here's the whole history about that hat, which has now become Pharrell's trademark.

A fedora. I was thinking a Stetson Stratoliner (scroll down), but it's hard to say.

The hat that the OP is interested in isn't the Grammys "Smokey Bear" hat. It's a slightly oversized fedora, for sure, but as oneirodynia says, it's hard to say more than that.
