Seeking information on this hand bell made in India

Bought this bell at a flea market a few years ago. What's it used for and what's its age? Do you think it's valuable? It's a brass casting and has a marking "MADE IN INDIA" done with a hand punch. Also, the initials MB done in the same manner. Another picture.

I believe they are tourist fare from the 60's. We have 5-6 of them, and they have a little holder. I snagged them from a box of junk at my grandparents house when I was little.

I remember seeing a bell like that in my grandparents house back in the 1950s. So, nothing new.

Bells are usually used during pujas (worship) at home.
