Silicon Valley business blogs?

What are the best blogs to read that cover the *business* of Silicon Valley?

I read SiliconValleyWatcher, but I want to expand my horizons. I'm interested in the business side - takeovers, business strategy, up-and-coming markets, etc. - more than the tech side, but a little bit of the tech isn't bad. Suggestions?

Joi Ito is a venture capitalist and tech guy who has a blog - probably not much "deal" news though. Paul Graham's essays are very interesting - he's a tech guy but founded and sold a company to Yahoo!. He writes a lot about the ins-and-outs of founding a startup - as a banker, I've found his insights to be very helpful.

Both of the above links are probably too soft for your purposes. For more Wall Street-esque deal news, you're probably better off with a broader M&A publication like The Deal (expensive) or the NY Times Dealbook (free, daily email with links to news sources - follow this link and look for Dealbook text ad in the right hand column about half-way down). I use the NY Times Dealbook instead of the Wall Street Journal for my daily M&A news.

You might also be interested in the PE Week Wire. It's a free daily email (or you can just go to the website) that provides news blurbs on deal activity in the private equity/VC world, most of which is tech-related.

Another one that's probably not business-focused enough, but John Paczkowski's column Good Morning Silicon Valley has its share of business news.

Silicon Beat is another Mercury News-related blog, but it focuses more on the VC side of things.
