Catch me up on post-reunion GbV & related projects

If I'm putting together a playlist to catch up on the best songs that Guided By Voices, Bob Pollard, and their various side projects have put out since their reunion, what songs need to go on it?

I <3 me some Guided By Voices. And once upon a time, putting in the time to sift through Bob Pollard's prolific output was a gas. Whether it was oddball GbV EPs and singles, side bands like Acid Ranch or Airport 5, Pollard solo stuff... I had it all, and I knew where the nuggets of gold were hidden. I don't have the same kind of free time I did the first go around, though, and I've barely dipped my toe into the mainline GbV releases since they got back together, much less the side projects. What are the gems? Which are the songs I really need to hear? I've got a blank Spotify playlist standing by awaiting input.

Three favorites and no answers yet. I'm also a GBV fan. Have you tried asking this question on any of the GBV-related Facebook groups? They seem to be fairly active.

Best answer: I can’t help making suggestions for an abridged “Best Of” culled from the post-reunion stuff, as idiosyncratic (and impossible to finalize) such a list will be. I’ve just stuck to the GBV albums proper here, as well as Pollard’s two most recent solo records, which I think are among the best he’s ever done. These are all pretty heavily weighted towards the “pop and punk” side of Pollard’s “four P’s,” as well, which means Tobin Sprout’s lovely contributions show up a lot. (These are all Youtube links, but Spotify should have you covered.)
