Identify this film please

Thriller/drama from 2000-2009-ish. Creepy guy puts hidden cameras in married couples house. Befriends wife, helps with small chores, carrying groceries etc. She may or may not be pregnant. He wants her husband to use his IT skills to help him steal a lot of money. One weird detail inside.
So far this coud be any of a load of films, Sliver, Firewall, Alone With Her, etc. The one weird detail is it also involves the baddie kicking the husband off a horse. English language movie. Ideal answer will include an explanation of the horse thing.
