Books before I'm 30

Recommend me one book to read before I turn 30
This March I will be 29. As a mini-project I've decided to expand the books I've read before I turn 30. I am a fairly fast reader, I guess I read 2-3 books a month. I mostly read science fiction and fantasy books but am happy to read from any genre, including non-fiction. If you could recommend me read one book before I turned 30, what would it be?
Ideally said book shouldn't be a slog (I'm not going to read Ulysses for example) and should be a one off (i.e. not a series of books). Any genre welcome, I want to read books you love!
For guidance, I've already read Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Gaiman, Game of Thrones, Peter F Hamilton, Orson Scott Card, Tom Holt, Julian May and many others who I am forgetting right now.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Sorry to be a spoilsport, but this is so broad it skirts the line of chatfilter. Can we make it slightly more specific? Please check your MeMail, thanks. -- goodnewsfortheinsane
