Good brands of men's shoes?

Men's Shoes - a few questions: 1. Good Online retailers? 2. Links to websites of brands you like or recommend? 3. I like Cydwoq brand. Know anyone else who makes handmade shoes? 4. Anyone in Toronto know a retailer besides C-Squared that carries Cydwoqs?

My local retailer of Cydwoqs is no longer carrying the brand (presumably because they have a small market and are quite expensive), which sucks. So, I'm looking online and since I have to do that I might as well see if there are any other manufacturers with similar tastes/look/quality. So, what are your best links to retailers/manufactures of men's shoes (not runners)?

Cydwoq's own web site is terrible and the list of retailers doesn't even include the one I have been buying from for 4 years... and they don't return their emails either, so no need to suggest I contact them directly. Thanks!

Yeah, I answered in your thread, F&W.

My main purpose I guess is to find a way to get more Cydwoqs but I thought I'd piggyback some other Qs on here rather than just spend my credit for the short answer. :)

best handmade shoes in the galaxy.

fucking expensive, I know. Terence Stamp loves them, he's a client since the Sixties.

Okay I have to make amends. I raked out an old issue of GQ and found the shoes I really wanted once, the name is NDC. They change stock often, look amazing sometimes, but are very hard to get hold of.

You need R.M. Williams boots. They’re beautifully made, look great, and last forever. (warning: irritating website.)

Hmm. matteo, that web site is completely blank for me. Are you seeing stuff there? I tried Safari and Firefox--nothing appears.

Thanks f&w, they have some nice models, yeah. Same with your link, firstdrop. And yeah, that web site is poo.

Matteo's link should be G.J. Cleverley dot co dot uk instead of dot com, dobbs.

Wow, I sure wish I could even remotely afford these shoes. I guess you have to be a rich bastard to look like one.

Go to Zappos.com. Seriously. (And I don't think I've ever plugged a comercial site before).

Thanks for the Zappos push. Some nice stuff there. Hadn't heard of Kenzo brand or Mark Nason before.

bcwinters, thanks for correcting that link. The Cleverley ones are a little too "classic" looking for my tastes, I think, though #15 and 35 are nice. I didn't see prices anywhere though and since 2 people mentioned them I assume they're there someplace.
