Question: Daily check off list for palm?

Is there an easy "daily check off" palm app? I'm looking for something to remind me to do the things I need to do every day, but sometimes those things need to be done more than once a day, and I don't want to enter multiple items for those.

I want something simple. I want to be able to put in a few items with arbitrary labels that need to be checked off N times per day (a different number per item). I want it to prompt me every day to check off those things, and tell me when I've reached N for each item. I want N to refresh automatically every day (calendar day) until I change it.

A quick display showing how many of each thing are left before I reach N would be helpful too.

Historical logs would be nice, but are not essential.

Is there something like this?

You can almost do this with the standard Todo application. Just set a task that repeats daily, forever. The 'N requirement' can be satisfied in the task description itself. For example, assign yourself a daily repeating task 'Drink N glasses of water'.

Otherwise, look for the Calendar/Todo enhancements like DateBk5 and Agendus Pro.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the 'N requirement' cannot be satisfied in the least by putting the number in the task description.

The whole point of this is that I want to put in, for example, "drink 8 glasses of water" and simply check it off every time I drink a glass of water. I'm not looking for a solution like "when you drink a glass of water, change the 8 to a 7". If I have to tell it how many I have left, that would defeat the purpose of having an application to tell me how many I have left.

I have Agendus Pro, but it doesn't seem to support the 'N requirement' either.

Could you, say, put in 8 "drink a glass of water" tasks for each day, set them to delete when checked off, and set these as repeating daily?

I could, yes, but if I wanted to do that, I wouldn't have specified in the question: I'm looking for something to remind me to do the things I need to do every day, sometimes those things need to be done more than once a day, and I don't want to enter multiple items for those.

1 task, multiple times a day. I want the application to do this for me, not creative ways to do it manually.

Does it exist?

That seems like it will only reschedule tasks for subsequent days, not multiple instances within a day, and it doesn't have any counting functions.
