Logo no-go?

I'm designing a logo that will incorporate five letter C's, either with the gaps facing inward (like a flower, like this) or out (like a star, roughly like this). The thing is, I know I've seen other examples of each of these shapes before and I want to avoid copying something already trademarked... but I honestly can't remember what they are and am having trouble searching. Can anyone point me to ones you're familiar with?

Only two Cs, but the CHANEL logo might be what you're thinking of.

Best answer: The University of Canberra (www.canberra.edu.au) is exactly the 5 C's facing out

Best answer: the calgary olympics logo.

Do a google image search (upload your design). This is only the first step to ensure your logo is unique and not already copyrighted or trademarked.

Extended Stay America has a logo very much like the one you describe for the outward Cs.
