A total 180

Why does 3ds Max flip my camera 180 degrees when I open a file on another machine?

The facts:
- Both computers are using Autodesk 3ds Max 2013.
- It is exactly the same file. On one computer it shows up as a normal camera perspective, on the other it is upside down and will not render.
- I am relatively new to Max but I am proficient at many other similar software and cannot figure this out.

I'm guessing that your camera's "up axis" is defined differently between the two machines. On one machine it's Y and on the other it's Z, something like that.

Check your camera preferences on both machines and ensure they match.
