I am going to buy six tickets for Bay Pointe ballet's nutcracker show in San Mateo, CA. If I buy tickets on their website. I need to pay $15.5 for fees. I wonder if anybody knows if I can save those fees when I go to their box office in San Mateo to buy tickets directly. I was not successful when calling them to find out the answer.

They don't have a box office. They're performing at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center, which is attached to the high school. It is not staffed during business hours as far as I know, and from looking at Bay Pointe Ballet's web site, it doesn't look like you can buy tickets on the day of the performance at the venue.

Response by poster: purpleclover, thanks for the quick reply. your answer is right on target, helped me to understand how things run here. Now I will go ahead to buy the ticket on line.
Once again, thanks for the askMeFi platform.
