Summer Slippers/House Shoes?

My mum and I have been wearing simple fabric embroidered slippers (as house shoes) for years. The store we used to buy them from (in Chinatown Sydney) for $10 each has closed down and I can't for the life of me find a new supplier.

The reasons we both love these slippers, is that they are:
-easy slip ons
-great in summer as they have no backs (Mum lives in a very hot part of QLD)
-cheap
-never going to scuff a wooden floors (Mum is VERY particular about her floors)
-super soft
-silent

I admit I haven't scoured chinatown, as I've since moved to the outer reaches of Sydney and now have toddlers, so I'm never going to get a 1/2 day to spend searching for these elusive $10 slippers. I have however spent countless hours at night trying to find similar online. I've used every trick I know of but the closest I've got to is a New York Chinatown online store (seems like a crazy option) or some strange unknown wholesale sites selling slippers that look like they might be ok, but are very difficult to navigate.

I'm willing to move to a different style, but most slippers are too warm (yes, kind of the point).

Does anyone know where I can get a few pairs of these online? Or in a Sydney store somewhere? Alternative house shoe suggestions?

I think the classic Metafilter house slippers are Crocs.

There's some very similar looking ones in the window on the corner of marrickville rd and Victoria in marrickville, if you can get there. I'll try to remember to have a better look on my way home.

Best answer: OK, I was in a hurry, but managed to take a couple of photos. They have beads on them, and look pretty similar to maggieb's link.
