Can my cell phone be fixed?

I have a VGA 1000 phone by Samsung. It was working great, then all of a sudden is just turned off without warning. Now, the screen doesn't show anything and it doesn't say that it is charging when I know the charger is working fine. I've removed the battery and put it back in a few times, but still no luck. Please Help Me.

Your battery could be dead. They certainly degrade over time, and while I've never heard of one just up and dying, it seems possible. If you know someone with the same phone, you can try popping in their battery to test this theory.

I don't think it's the battery, because the little LCD screen in the front still shows sign of life. But they main screen doesn't do anything

Bad batteries will show they're charging but really aren't, or maybe hold very little charge. Phones that randomly shut off typically have something wrong inside.

You would usually have a year warranty, I have no idea how old that particular phone is but your provider should be able to tell you whether you fall within that timeframe or not. If not, it usually can be fixed, but of course at a cost. Take it in to the shop where you bought it for more advice.
